Alumnae Spotlight

Janie initially started classes at CWJC three years ago, but didn't complete the program due to a drug relapse. Determined to redeem herself, she got clean and sober and felt the Lord leading her back to attending CWJC rather than going right back to work.

Janie is also the mother of three boys who are her daily motivation.

"Attending CWJC helped me heal spiritually and helped me make better decisions. Being surrounded by a sisterhood of support and knowing I was not alone gave me the confidence I needed", says Janie.

With advice and guidance received from her teachers, Janie is ready to begin the LVN Program at Schreiner University and is the recipient of a P.E.O. Scholarship that will help her pay for school.
